
Today I did a couple of small swatches in
SWTC A-MAIZing, made from 100% corn fiber. I'll have a more in-depth review of the yarn later, but I did want to show that I
am swatching on Sunday.
I used US size 3 needles from my
Boye Needlemaster
. The label recommends US size 7 needles to get six stitches to the inch. I think someone at
SWTC is smoking crack.
I had to return
The New Knitting Stitch Library back to the library, so I'm using
Big Book of Knitting Stitch Patterns
. The swatch on the left is "Interchanging Cables" on page 69, and the swatch on the right is the "Mirrored Triangle Stitch" on page 9.
